Springtime Haikus
Some haikus I wrote this spring
Apr 27, 2024
springtime wind-chimes sing
pluck away the yellow leaves
let us plant new trees
grey cat sun bathing
she’s lying in green clover
bye to the lizard
a fly on my dog
he snaps and tries to catch them
now time for his nap
pink roses unfold
smells of lemon verbena
bunches of bright blooms
My daughter’s swing sways
the animals stay outside
everyones refreshed
One tomato plant
basil, mint, sage, and thyme
my little garden
Thanks for reading!
